Bits of this beautiful village captured in the illustrations I created for A LU' ESCANA, a cultural hub in the most unexpected place: the village of Porumbacu de Sus, near Sibiu. A spot where good coffee meets meaningful gifts, enriching art and exciting events.
This series of illustrations bottles the essence of Porumbacu de Sus, the way I met it: green and blue houses with crosses on their walls, traditional throws called "țoloabe", local ceramics, huge buffalos, Christian icons painted on the gates, fluffly sheep and black&white traditional clothing specific to the area around Sibiu. All these now turned into little keepsakes that remind you of your visit there.
