Madalina Andronic is a Romanian illustrator who paints the things we wish we could hold on to a little longer. Her illustrations are little time capsules of emotions, memories and fleeting sensations, brought to life through rich colours, intricate details and a distinctly feminine sensibility.

With a BA in Graphic Design from the National University of Arts in Bucharest and an MA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts in London, she has worked as a professional freelance illustrator since 2011, building a creative practice spanning editorial illustration, publishing, fashion, textiles, packaging and product design. Her clients include The Folio Society, Financial Times, Nespresso, St. Regis Hotels and Olympia Le-Tan.

Alongside commissioned work, Mădălina has developed her own brand of beautifully crafted objects, bringing her painted worlds into everyday life. At the heart of it all is a simple belief: the things we surround ourselves with should do more than serve a purpose — they should make life a little more beautiful.
