FLOARE DE COLTĀ is a capsule knitwear collection I created in collaboration with Romanian brand LANERIA, bringing together illustration, memory and textile design across three wool pieces: a cardigan, a sweater and a poncho.
The collection is rooted in a deeply personal story. My grandmother knitted throughout her life, and some of her sweaters were worn by three generations of women in our family. The visual language of the collection draws from those memories, as well as from the summers we spent together on mountain hikes, where we would often find edelweiss flowers. Over time, the edelweiss became a symbol of those years, while the bird motif came to represent the enduring presence and protection of the grandmothers who continue to stay with us in memory, long after they're gone.
